Marketing Co-ordinator

The Mary MacKillop Spirituality Ministry is entering an exciting new chapter. Formerly known as the Spirituality Ministry of the Sisters of Saint Joseph, we’ve recently relaunched under a new name and brand that honours the legacy of Saint Mary MacKillop while responding to the spiritual needs of today’s world.

Our ministry oversees seven spirituality and heritage centres across five states in Australia. These vibrant centres offer programs, retreats, sacred spaces, historical exhibitions, and accommodation facilities—creating inclusive, nurturing environments that support personal and spiritual growth.

With our mission and reach expanding, we are seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Co-ordinator to support the continued growth of our brand and digital presence.

Key responsibilities of the role

  • Grow our presence on social media platforms to increase engagement and brand following; including writing and scheduling content
  • Design and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels with consistent brand messaging and effective call to actions
  • Support the development of product brochures, presentations, and branding materials
  • Design and implement promotional materials using tools such as Canva, WordPress and Mailchimp
  • Liaising with internal teams to promote key activities and initiatives
  • Managing relationships and negotiations with external suppliers and agencies
  • Maintain digital presence through regular website updates and digital marketing campaigns
  • Support digital marketing initiatives, including social media, paid Meta Ads, Google Ads, and website content

What we’re looking for

  • High level of competency in writing business content and reporting by gathering insights and data and evaluating campaign success
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn with a passion for hospitality, events and creating memorable experiences for customers
  • Strong skills in brand management and digital content tools including Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, WordPress and Adobe Suite, Canva
  • A collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • A strong understanding of marketing fundamentals
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confidence working independently and managing multiple priorities

This role reports to the Manager, Marketing and Business Development, is part-time (20 hours per week) and is based at our Baulkham Hills location.
