Men are being challenged to show-up, there is a deep hunger for authentic masculinity. Half our kids will go to bed at night without saying goodnight to their father. Loud voices proclaim there is no heavenly father. Young people tell us they feel increasingly lost and lonely while women hope for a worthy partner. Men want more too. In similar times, God chose a father and husband to stand by his Son, and the Son’s mother.

Who was this silent, yet present, confident and competent man? Find and give voice to that man within yourself and your fellow men. He is the man the world needs: comfortable in his own skin, confident in the face of opportunities and challenges, and competent to speak his mind and act for the greater good.

Answer this challenge guided by Saint Joseph in scripture and sacred tradition, and leading research into relationships and the well-ordered life. The retreat includes meals, men’s circles, workshops and lectures, challenges, hiking in the foothills of Mt Wellington, the Jesus prayer with breathwork, and opportunities for mass, and reconciliation.
