Hospitality, Conversations and Contemplation
The Josephite Mission and History Centre has been giving its new coffee machine a thorough work out as we welcome Josephite friends to conversation and contemplation. Mary-Ann Casanova had us contemplating Teilhard de Chardin in May. Drasko Dizdar has had us reflecting on the Road to Emmaus through the scriptural lens of Lectio Divina. Virginia Bourke has had a reflecting deeply on what makes us authentically human and holy. Time for conversation and contemplation have been the hallmark of each of the three experiences. Despite the winter chill there have been plenty of clear days to admire the beauty of our local area. In this NAIDOC week we expressed our gratitude for our First Nation peoples for their care of our land, sea and all creation. The back drop of Kunanyi is a constant connection to country for all our visitors.
