Attractions

Basalt Plains

Millions of years ago, Williamstown was alive with volcanic activity and lava flowed from the vents of hundreds of surrounding volcanoes into Port Phillip Bay.As this happened, gases built up and created a unique bubble. Victoria’s basalt plains form one of the largest lave plains in the world. See the extremely rare formation that has fascinated geologists the world over.

Library

Our lending library has an extensive collection of books on spiritual topics, including eco-spirituality, scripture and Aboriginal spirituality theology, as well as art, fiction and magazines like Earth Song, Madonna and NGV Magazine. Please ask a staff member about borrowing.

Our Little Shop

Our Little Shop is more than just a funding space. It has supported asylum seekers, Aboriginal ministries and those who need our help. Creating links between the garden and the community, our craft group makes and supplies items for the shop — like our garden produce used to make jams. Along with donations from the community, we also stock jewellery from Africa, whose proceeds help support the women who make them.
