Theologians in focus: Elizabeth Johnson and Gustavo Gutiérrez.
Elizabeth Johnson helps believers speak about God in ways that honour human dignity, inclusion, women and creation, making theology accessible and spiritually nourishing.
Gustavo Gutiérrez reminds us that the Gospel calls Christians to walk with the poor and vulnerable, seeing charity and justice as central – not optional- to Christian discipleship. Their theologies invite us not only to understand faith intellectually but to live it through compassion, solidarity, and practical action.
Together, they help us see that theology is not abstract theory, but a way of relating with God that shapes how we pray, act, and care for others and the environment in our world today.
